While you shouldn’t use an IPL device near the tattoo, you can easily use the trimmer to remove extra hairs. I love it but I would prefer the other models we mentioned as their attachment design is much better than this model.

The answer is yes and no. You will have to finish your treatment and keep using the Philips Lumea Device for maintenance. So, in order to enjoy soft and smooth skin, you shouldn’t skip your maintenance sessions, which are once every 6 months or 12 months according to your skin’s response to laser and IPL hair removal. The same applied to laser hair removal at clinics, too. The only approved permanent hair removal method is electrolysis, and it is very painful and tedious. I don’t recommend it for full-body hair removal.
Can I use Philips Lumea in my private area?
Yes. In fact, many Philips Lumea Devices have an attachment for treating your bikini area and another for treating your underarms, too! (including Philips Lumea 9000). However, you shouldn’t use it on the inner labia. Keep in mind your skin tone must be fair to dark brown skin tones ( I – V) in order for the device to work. Otherwise, the Philips Lumea won’t flash.
